New, Game-Changing Sensor for Methane Emissions

Methane emissions monitoring has long been a costly and complex challenge for the industrial sector. But that’s starting to change. At Kunak we have developed a new high-precision methane sensor that is set to transform how this potent greenhouse gas is detected and controlled. Compact, reliable, and up to ten times more affordable than traditional solutions, the sensor enables continuous monitoring—even at low concentrations where others struggle.

Thanks to its modular design, it can be seamlessly integrated into Kunak AIR Pro or AIR Lite stations and adapted to various environments like landfills, wastewater treatment plants, or oil and gas facilities. This innovation marks a major leap forward for industries aiming to meet stricter environmental regulations and move towards more sustainable, responsible operations. The future of methane emissions monitoring starts here.

Advanced Methane Monitoring

Methane emissions pose serious environmental, safety, and regulatory challenges for industries like oil & gas, landfills, wastewater treatment, and industrial facilities.

Plug & Play

  • Plug & Play calibrated cartridge system – every cartridge has individual calibration table.
  • Easy pop-out, pop-in….instantly switch detected gases!

Patented GasPlug™ Technology

All the gas cartridges are the same size and fit into any of the available slots. Inside each cartridge is a PCB that stores all identifiable information including: gas type, age, and factory calibration. When you plug the new cartridge into
the basestation the information from the PCB is read so the cartridge can be configured and start working immediately.

Traceable QC & QA

Each cartridge is calibrated and validated individually in lab against traceable reference standards.

Endless combinations

Combine the parameters freely. Reuse and scale your basestations at your own pace.

Plug & Play

Simply swap out the old cartridge and replace it easily with the new one, in the field.

More sustainable

The electronic and mechanical parts can be reused, making it the most sustainable AQ sensor-based solution on the market.
